Inaccurate title

Should have been "Constant close-ups of toads doing nothing while people overreact to the presence of lizards, turtles, and snakes" But I guess that's a bit of a mouthful.

I saw only two actual frogs through the entire movie, ahahahahaha.

You nailed it! :o)

Yeah, we discussed the same thing. And I don't actually recall the toad-frogs attacking anyone?

The danish title is "Kryb", which translates to "Creep", which I think would have been a better international title. Or maybe "Vermin" even.

I think something like "The Attack of the Animals" would be a more accurate title because plenty of other animals were involved in the madness, too; not just frogs. But I still love this film anyways.

The frogs were like the generals sending the soldiers into the fray. You could tell that they were the bosses.

Yeah, they were the little Napoléons of the swamp creatures.

Us frogs are always behind the scenes, pulling the strings.

reply

Lol, my username is the Algonquian term for groundhog, which English settlers butchered into 'woodchuck.' And I'd like to think that the groundhogs (wuchaks) pulled the strings of the woodland animals, e.g. bear, moose, dear, etc.

reply

That is my fun fact learned for the day. Although "How much chak can a wuchak chak if a wuchak could chak wu?" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Perhaps they should have gone another way with the title...
