Missing scenes in current version?

This movie made a major impression on me when I caught it on late night TV around 1982 at the age of 13. I just saw this on the big screen tonight in San Francisco and it is as great as ever, however at least two scenes seemed to be missing. One scene I remember was Stacy Keach literally falling down drunk in an alley way possibly into some trash cans (This made quite an impression because before this movie, I had never seen alcoholism portrayed as anything but the happy tippler on Bewitched and Foster Brooks), and another scene involved Jeff Bridges and Candy Clark on their honeymoon trip in Carmel (like they were fish out of water in a nice setting). Does anyone else remember those scenes? Are they on the DVD? The print tonight had obviously been around for years.

No. I do not. I especially do not remember the scene with Bridges and Clark on their honeymoon. Are you sure you're not confusing the film with the book. I have seen the movie many, many times in theaters, and I do not remember these scenes at all.

I saw the movie on its first run and neither one of these scenes were in the picture.
