twilight zone radio - the big tall wish

like watching a bit of time with a joe getting about his business, no explosive start and (spoiler) no explosive ending. seemed he had lost everything but the match by the end. part of the girlfriend story reminds alot of the song "juice head baby". i was beating my brains out throughout the movie wondering who that very familiar actor was playing the manager, he looked like another guy in cheers a decade later. i've always heard good things about this movie, i guess i expected more to happen, but i liked it. i figure this is keach most famous role from what i've heard, and you may like to know that keach narratared a similar story on the amazing twilight zone radio dramas, titled "the big tall wish". i wish those shows were easier to get a hold of, those are like my favorite entertainment pieces ever, but only found as bonus material on twilight zone dvd boxes and just 3 released cd's available in swedish stores.

burning tyre marks i made back then,
what you did was an alright sense,
but turned victim of careless gears i shifted yesterday,
i know better with a wider windshield like this,
please don't put me down for what i built and did,
years ago when i didn't know jack,
i made a shot there on your burnin grove,
from the rushing highway i was letting loose,
wish i could get you back on the move,
today go ahead now and burn on,
see all those cars honking your action.
