Saw that just came up on the Trailers from Hell site. And yes, it's a great movie, Warped!
shareThat's great to hear, Zurichpoet! No matter what has been going on in his personal life, Stacy Keach has been right on the mark in everything of his I've seen – generally gritty and always completely convincing.
shareJohn Huston has a great literary vision. And not only that, he gets the worlds he chooses to show. Ever seen his take on "Reflections in a Golden Eye"? The best part, there's this gold tint which Carson McCullers could only hint at in her prose; that coats Georgia in the fall. He's better than Rembrandt with his sense of daily light, and life, as he has to show it with his figures moving.
How cool is that website! Any other pics you dig from it?
Yes, I have seen "Reflections in a Golden Eye." Fantastic cinematography on that, and instead of a black-and-white film it seems to be black-and-yellow (or yellow-and-white).
Sometimes a horse is just a horse, but not in that film.
So many trailers, so little time. That site has three new ones a week, and it's hard to pick a favorite. Plus I'm at work, so I shouldn't be wandering into grindhouse land ...
