mr. nightlinger's first name

I see that the IMDb lists Roscoe Lee Browne's character as "Jebediah Nightlinger", but I always thought it was "Jedediah", with a "d" instead of a "b". I haven't seen the movie in years, so I'm not sure. I've known members of an older generation with the name Jedediah, but I don't think I've ever heard the name Jebediah. I even looked up "baby names" on Google to see if it listed a Jebediah, and it did not. It did list, however, a Jedediah. So, can anyone confirm the spelling of Roscoe Lee Brown's character's name? It would be shown in the closing credits of the movie, if anyone has a DVD of it. If the spelling is incorrect, then IMDb editors would correct it.
