toilet scene

all i'd heard about this film before seeing it was that there was a very famous scene in which the characters all sit around on toilets conversing before individually heading off to seperated cubicles to eat by themselves. having just rented the movie, and despite enjoying it thoroughly, i have absolutely no recollection of this scene. can anyone help? when in the film does it occur? has it been edited out of the region 2 dvd version for any reason or is it a much slighter scene than i realised and i may have missed it while pouring myself a glass of wine? thanks in advance.

well, the scene that you describe in your post is in another film of Buñuel call Le Fantóme de la liberté, and in this scene they only stand up to go to the "bathroom" and eat

thanks. getting the film completely wrong could explain it. doesn't explain why i've had so many conversations about the toilet scene in bourgeoisie though.
