Is Bunuel essentially ridiculing astrology in this film?

I'm referring to the scene where Fernando Rey says what his zodiac sign is, and Bulle Ogier describes who he is according to his zodiac signs, and the description contradicts everything that characterizes who Fernando Rey is in the film.

BTW, Bulle Ogier's character tries to attract the Ambassador persistently.
