For those of you who like spoofs, well, in the "Breaking out is hard to do" espisode from the third season of family guy they spoof this film, where Quagmire is the one who interrupts the six people trying to have dinner.

I've seen this episode KubricksSeal, you're right with the name of it, but it isn't from the third season, it is from the 4th season and it is the 9th episode, as a Buñuel and Family Guy fan I must correct this reference...and...yes, it could be a very sophisticated spoof...sincerely I didn't get it the first time I watched this episode.
shareI think you're mistaking coincidence for spoofing. If you're talking about the "who else but quagmire" bit, there are a minimum of 7 people at the table (4 are female), none of them look anything remotely like the people in the film, and there is not one reference to anything seen in the film other than people trying to eat a meal.
