Stephane Audran - one of the sexiest ever??

Phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwwwwww - what an attractive woman - so classy, smooth and elegant - was locked onto her every time she came on screen....

did anyone else think the same?

reply

oh yeeees !!! Was GLUED to her ! Very much in the Barbara Bach, Emmanuelle beart mould... very feminine, sophisticated, sultry, classy and sexy !

reply

You should see her "la rupture" or "la femme infidèle" ...(etc. etc .)
Most beautifull and intriguing woman on the screen ever.

reply

Indeed! Stéphane is one of the hottest actress I've ever seen! Perhaps she didn't have the best body but she had that "Je ne sais quoi".
She oozes out sex by each one of her pores!

reply

How interesting to see how toned her body was. Man, those eyes! Those legs!
Those - well, just pick a topic. Between her and Seyrig, I could not have cared less about the story.

reply

personally, i feel that delphine seyrig outshines her... her face in this film when she wears white is majestic! and there's something very raw and earthy about bulle ogier (i loved her in this and especially in jacques rivette films)
Stephane is very seductive in this film also... but Seyrig's tops, especially when she drops her top in 'the day of the jackal'

"search the diplomatic pouch?" 'unthinkable!'

Oh, yes, her beauty in JACKAL. Hope Edward Fox ruined fifty takes, just to get stuck next to her again and again.

Just watched BRIDESHEAD REVISITED for the first time in a decade. Loved the worldly-wise Audran in that.

reply

Amazingly sexy, especially in stockings. Was she in 8 Femmes?

Amen to this . I definitely prefer Delphine as well . For me Stéphane is sexy , but Delphine is sexier ; Stéphane is beautiful , but Delphine is more beautiful ; Stéphane is charismatic , but Delphine is even more so . Audran is more of an ice queen and feels like an image more than a real person . Delphine has a warmer , earthy quality about her and while she also excels at playing mysterious , enigmatic characters , there is always something human about her . Her smile and behaviour have something arcane , but also deliciously ironic about it . In terms of acting skills there is no comparison between the two , really . Stéphane is an intriguing , magnetic presence in films , but her range is quite limited , having basically given the same performance in nearly everything I've seen her in . Delphine is one of the greatest actresses ever seen in film , theatre or television . She was a real chameleon and her ability of disappearing into characters ( see Jeanne Dielman ) hasn't been matched very often .

Was she in 8 Femmes?

Nope . Are you thinking about Fanny Ardant ?

reply

completely magnetic presence, those eyes, cheekbones and overall elegance. A complete stunner.

reply

all the women in this were stunning

reply

reply

In the 1970s she was the most beautiful actress ever i.m.o. Especially in “La femme infidèle”
