Darn good question. The timeline is difficult to determine. It seems that Peppermint Patty invited herself a few days before Thanksgiving, but there seemed to be no indication that a day or more had passed before the gig went down, leading me to believe that this whole fiasco began at roughly 11am Thanksgiving morning. I've grappled with this question for years.

Best as I can estimate, Peppermint Patty and the gang took off around 2p from their hood, got to Chuck's by 3p, chewed the fat for a spell then dinner was served at 3:20p.

The ingratitude began at roughly 3:30p, Chuck bailed at 3:35. Linus pontificated for several minutes, Marci set PP straight shortly after, then the make up session took place at precisely 3:50 and required approximately 10 minutes to clear the air.

The phone records show that the call to Grandma Brown took place at exactly 4pm CST...
