Good Lord. Ease off the caps on your posts and take the caps your MD prescribed for whatever your mental problems are. The only "real" thing your post yells is that (most) political candidates and office holders like the power it bestows. They may piddle away their political capital, but most senators leave office a whole lot richer than when they first entered the hallowed Senate office buildings.
