Question to those who have it on DVD

Which edition/version do you own?

I have the "30th Anniversary Special Edition DVD", and though it has some nice special features (interviews and featurettes etc) I was very dissapointed by the lack of subtitles on the disc. I really would have wanted some Engish caption options, to have the lyrics to the songs be displayed on the film etc.
Do any of you guys on here own a version with subs? And also, which version do you own and how do you like it?

Peace!

I have the DVD which I purchased in 2007 and I believe it was released in 2002...it has recently begun to have problems playing properly in the beginning moments so I am in the process of trying to decide if I want to replace it w/ the 2013 40th Anniversary edition DVD.

As there seems to be no special features and some controversy on Amazon reviews, I came here to see if anyone had an opinion as to the quality of this version DVD?

I love Cabaret and it became my favorite movie when it first played in local theaters in 1972.

I have previously owned it on VHS, many years back, and have owned the LP album, 8 track, audio cassette, and CD of the soundtrack...

When I say it is my favorite movie, I mean this most sincerely. Long live Cabaret!
