Shades of Chicago

I am a fan of Chicago. Did anybody else notice the musical numbers reminded me of those from the hit Chicago. I guess Fosse was responsible for both. Chicago was a lighthearted film while Cabaret left audiences saddened due yo the decadence seen in Berlin. Excellent film took me 40 years to finally see.

Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb wrote the book "Chicago," and Fosse choreographed and directed the original Broadway production. Rob Marshall choreographed the movie.
