I love this movie so much

I like this movie very much. I know its not possible especially these days when crime is touching the skies. But I would love to go back in 1970s and live in that kind of apartment. Life was great in those days of hippies and free love. There were many jobs and population was low. I don't know but I think crime was low too.

This movie also inspires the youngsters to get out of their parents house and live a life of their own, meeting new people, facing new challenges and having their own experiences. I love it.

Crime has actually fallen a lot in the last number of years in the U.S. There is just more media coverage of it than ever before. The late 60's and the 1970's were really no safer than it is out in the world today. It's just an illusion to think that it was. You should get out and experience life, just be smart. Living in fear will leave you with nothing but regrets later.

The quote that comes to mind is, "There's no such thing as a young Republican"

I do too. In some ways, it's such a warm and fuzzy movie. GREAT for Sunday afternoons.

Strange, every time I watch this I have an urge for apples and salami and deli salads for some reason.
