Good God! Edward Albert was sooo hot.

He was absolutely gorgeous is this movie. Woof!

Yes, absolutely stunning. I liked his face, chest and hair style. Goldie Hawn was gorgeous too. Her big eyes just added more beauty and innocence to her face.

Sad part was after watching the movie when I searched internet for Edward Albert, I found he died in 2006 of lung cancer.

Me, too. Eileen Heckart also died of lung cancer several years before EA. Bloody bollocky cigarettes. HATE the things.

I always felt they should've changed Mrs Baker's line about Jill having "beady little eyes like a bird", because it's so ridiculously inaccurate in Hawn's case.

Edward Albert was gorgeous in this movie...you should also check him out in FORTY CARATS.

I definitely agree. Too bad there aren't a lot of his classic good looks nowadays. I loved this film because of his performance in it. Not a lot of believable blind guys in movies recently. I can't believe that a film from 1972 would have so much impact on me. I'm so happy I got a copy of this film.

He was good looking. Of course, his father (if you saw him in Oklahoma), you can tell where his looks came from.

I didn't like Goldie in the movie...she just sounded like a self-centered "dumb blonde"...too much like the way she was on Laugh In.

OF COURSE, I grew up on Green Acres. Maybe Eva Gabor should've played Mrs. Baker. Nah, that would've been TOO sureal.

That really is quite amazing considering the fact that he was adopted! (EDIT: It has been pointed out to me that Edward is indeed his biological son. So sorry.... for years, I was under the impression that both children were adopted.
I agree though that both men are (were) good looking.

No, he wasn't adopted. He had a sister that was, though.

"I told you a million times not to talk to me when I'm doing my lashes"!

Thank you. My mistake. I was under the impression that both children were adopted.

Amen. Try the 1991 movie "Proof" with Hugo Weaving as a blind photographer--not a blinded one, but someone who became a photographer because he was blind and suspicious and wanted to check what people told him against reality. Very interesting.

The most interesting thing is that although this movie is 40 years old, he looks exactly like what you would see in a fashion magazine today - especially when he wears that French Foreign Legion cap. His full lips, cleft chin, tan, deep voice - hot, hot, hot!!

i totally agree that Ed Albert was to die for--I also loved the French Foreign Legion cap!

No one mentions his beautiful mother: Mexican actress Margo!

This movie was on TCM last night and I was just completely blown away by how stunningly beautiful Edward Albert was. His face, his hair, his body, his voice...ugh, I felt like I was in high school re-discovering I was gay all over again.

It's a shame he died so young. At least I enjoyed the movie, but I felt like I was biased. I barely looked at any of the other actors.

Did we get to see his tinkle??
