Did you notice that Don smokes and misses the ashtray. Also has candles going. Both things are a common cause of fire for sighted people, much less bats. He may have burned the place down and not even known it.

I was thinking that to but I would also think how could someone who never could see can start a stupid habit... I would think he couldn't be persuaded by seeing others doing an unnatural act how can he get the idea to start it?
shareIt is never a good idea for ANYONE to smoke. Candles can be dangerous for anyone also. Please look at the history for Edward Albert to convince yourself that smoking was most definitely BAD for him.
I thought the same thing. Why was the candle flame so big? You could've toasted marshmallows on it. That kind of candle is supposed to be a little flicker.
