The actor who played Danny, Lee Harcourt Montgomery, is not listed among the actors in the credits here on the IMDb page for Ben. His relationship with Ben (in the movie) is what the whole movie revolves around. For IMDb to ignore him like this seems strange.
shareI agree! I was just checking Lee's filmography for the date of "Ben". When it did not show up, I came to this site, wondering why the heck this fairly important role wasn't listed! I was beginning to think my mind was playing tricks on me till I saw your thread title.
Maybe "Ben" wasn't the followup success that they expected, but it certainly needs to be listed for him both places. Get with it, IMDb! This is one of the bigger oopses I've seen, as this film definitely is not all that obscure.
I know I tried adding information a couple of times, but their form makes it extremely difficult. Perhaps I didn't do it right, as I've never seen the additions placed. Oh well... I did try. Perhaps someone has contacted them about this.

Maybe he wanted to disassociate from the whole Michael Jackson tableau.
He does sing the song "Ben" during the movie, so it is indeed odd that he is no longer listed on IMDB. I do that he was, a couple of years ago.
He is in the credits now. It was probably just a silly mistake IMDb made. They tend to do that a lot.
