that kid was frickin' annoying

His singing was a stretch but what got me was how disrespectful he was to the cop, just playing the harmonica the whole time. What a brat.

reply

Good kid! Annoying cops is the least someone can do!

The divinity laughed.

reply

exactly, he was protecting his best friend, i don't see anything annoying about that.

reply

To the OP: He wasn't annoying at all. The cops tried to find Ben so they could kill him and Ben was the only friend Danny had. Did you expect him to say "Why sure I'll tell you where Ben is. I'd be more than happy to let you kill him"? That would be silly. I didn't know that wanting to keep the only friend you've ever had was so wrong and annoying, but apparently it is.

reply

If the only friend you ever had was killing people, you had damn well better stop protecting him. That's aiding and abetting. That brat didn't care that people were dying. He didn't even care that he was endangering his own sister, who really loved him, when she had to follow him into the sewer. Except for the one bully kid, nobody treated him badly. In fact, he treated not only his sister, but his mother badly. Any kid who values rats over his fellow humans is a budding sociopath. And you wonder why he didn't have so much as one real, two-legged friend.

reply

That's like saying parents should stop loving their children just because they committed a crime. If someone meant that much to you, you'd be able to forgive them no matter what they did. And I happen to value my cats over most humans. Animals won't betray you, stab you in the back, use you, or judge you like humans do. Animals are loyal, unlike many humans.

reply

Then you deserve to be as ostracized by the general public as Danny was. I like cats, too, but you need psychiatric help.

reply

Maybe YOU are the one who needs psychiatric help. There is nothing wrong with befriending animals. As I said before, most people are two faced and dishonest. Animals are not. Giving your trust and friendship to people who don't deserve it is what is truly wrong. If the general public is as judgmental, unforgiving, and mean as you are, then I think I'd rather be ostracized by it.

Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings.

reply

I never said there was anything wrong with befriending animals. But your misanthropy is almost pathological. You'd "rather be ostracized"? Clearly antisocial personality disorder.

reply

I don't hate all humans, just the ones who act like you. You seem very arrogant, snobby, mean, and judgmental.

Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings.

reply

Take a good look in the mirror.

reply

I'd rather be a misanthropic, crazy animal lover who can relate to "annoying" kids in horror movies than be a pompous jerk like you.

Not that this was a good thing happening but, most of the attacks were out of defense.

As for Ben and Danny. They had a type of bond. It's a shame what happened all around.

Yup, he was a brat alright. Needed a good spanking.

He was just a kid. Blame the director for the silliness (and the writer). Of course he wasn't gonna tell where Ben was.

I think people who hate him must just hate kids in general. He wasn't any more annoying than other children. Some people just have zero tolerance for kids for some reason.
