Are we supposed to believe Ben made it?
Self explanatory question? The ending leaves it open to interpretation, I feel, but how severe would those injuries have been?

shareI like to think he would've survived so Danny wouldn't have lost his friend. But I don't really know how realistic that is. Danny had a heart problem so he and Ben were supposed to recover together. I think that if Ben were to die, it would've hurt Danny so much that it would make his heart problem worse and he could die too.
Burn, witch! Burn, witch! Burn! Burn! Burn!

Is it true that there was to be a third film about Ben? These two were such successes back in the early '70s that they were willing to do a third. Could be why they left the ending open. I just wished the owners of the two films would release the rights so they can be restored and released on home video (DVD or blu ray).
shareI've never heard anything about a 3rd film myself but I wish they would've gotten to make it. Willard and Ben are two of my favorite films so there can never be too many.
