Would a big pack of rats REALLY kill perolpe merceissly like this (spoil

I have finally seen...and now loaded...this movie after OVER 30 YEARS since I last saw it and over 35 since I saw ALL of it. Thanks again youtube !! But the FOREIGN named-one is the GOOD one--with the FULL ending ..English language throughout (just foreign captions)..The normal named one CUTS UP the last scene BADLY..

but i wonder...would a bunch of rats REALLY attack and kill people like they did in this movie and the one before it? And if Ben was such a bloodthirsty killer...WHY did he form such a close bond with the boy..to the point where he actually seemed to be able to communicate with him almost TOTALLY? (I know...just a movie..) But in reality...aren't rats really a gentle, lovable animal..after all MANY people have them as pets ?

I just posted after you but I'm watching it now. It's just a strange movie. Like, all the way around. It doesn't really make much sense as a whole.

Unlikely. My pet rats haven't eaten anyone (yet, at least). It's unuasual for pet rats to even bite. Wild rats can be driven to eat human flesh, but only if they're malnourished or forced and the human is sleeping, dead or restrained, but they wouldn't eat enough to kill someone. A moving human would scare them off, especially if they were screaming too.

When used in medieval torture, rats were trapped between a human body and a small bowl or something similar. They would eat through the human flesh to get out, but not until burning charcoal was placed on the outside of the bowl, making the rats scared they would die of the heat, so they only reacted this way as a last resort.

Hope this answers your question
