Willard was boring....

Must be an age thing. I found "Willard" (original) to be excellent. The remake was blech! Digital rats looked horrible. I like both actors, Davison and Glover. Both the original and remake have a 6.2/10. Only difference is the 1971 version has 15,000+ votes where as the 2003 version has 2,000+ votes. "Ben" is a good watch. I just find WILLARD to be more engaging.

"Ben" is a good watch. To think the probable reason BEN has been held up from any video format release is because of Michael Jackson's mushy song is beyond me. But $$$ talks and bootleggers lose another valuable asset IF the Blu-ray disc release keeps everything intact. WILLARD 1971 had a vhs / betamax tape release and a Laserdisc release. I prefer the disc obviously. My copy of Ben was sourced from a 16MM film print
