Richard Thomas
In a video about the show, Richard stated he briefly left due to the fact he feared being typecast as the wholesome, good boy and would not be considered for edgier roles. His parents were ballet dancers and in later seasons, when he returned he directed a few episodes. Does anyone know the name of the actor who replaced him? He did a decent job IMO.
