I found that so funny and just realized how Darleen Carr was in an episode called The Beguiled 1975 and was in the Clint Eastwood The Beguiled.

And what a GREAT Waltons episode it would have been to film a two-part episode with the Beguiled script! Those Walton women would have flocked to Eastwood, "this week's stranger on Walton's Mountain". I mean, like...how perverse, man!

That's right all the girls loved the baseball pitcher, Hobie Janks (something like that) so why not all the women including grandma trying to get to Eastwood while the Walton men were in Newport News.
