Ranking The Walton Family #1 thru #11 ....Share Your Rankings!!
I Loved "The Waltons" and all members of the family. Of course, I liked some more than others. The following is my ranking of favorite to least favorite...Being toward the bottom does not mean I didn't like that character. They were all special!!
#1 Ben Walton. I Loved Ben!! He was always my favorite. He was cute and funny, driven and honest!!I love the Ben/Cindy storyline in the later seasons!! He was the best looking male character on the series...a real HOTTIE!!
#2 John Boy Walton. Such a strong character, the Heart and Soul of the series. I wish he'd stayed with the series longer than 5 years. Richard Thomas was pure perfection in this role!!
#3 Mary Ellen Walton. I doubt if any character evolved and changed as much as Mary Ellen. She was amazing and gorgeous!!
#4 Jason Walton. He was without a doubt, the sweetest character on the show. You cared for him because he was such a good guy!!
#5 Olivia Walton. Probably one the strongest females characters on TV of all time. She knew right from wrong and instilled it in her family. Michael Learned was a brilliant actress who played her to perfection!
#6 Jim Bob Walton. Jim Bob was such an interesting character. He was so intelligent in a non book smart way. He was versatile and could do anything with his hands. He was sort of a dreamer! Always thought he was really cute!!
#7 Erin Walton. The polar opposite of Mary Ellen. She was type you always worried about and would try to protect. So sweet and so beautiful!!
#8 Grandpa Walton. Who wouldn't want a Grandpa like him? He was smart and funny, and still had a boy inside him. He had a zest for life!!
#9 Elizabeth Walton. The Youngest Walton, Never a brat. She loved her family above all else. Loyal and sweet!! She was adorable!!
#10 John Walton. John was honest, strong and protective. He was flawed, but his family meant everything to him. It is hard to believe Ralph Waite never won Emmy for his portrayal and was only nominated one time!!
#11 Grandma Walton. I loved Grandma, but she could be so judgmental and preachy at times. I loved the tender moments with her Grandpa!! Ellen Corby was brilliant!!
