May I say how sorry I am to read about the death of Ronnie Claire Edwards. She was a fine actress who put so much into the role of Corabeth Godsey. She had a great on screen double act with Ike. There are many episodes of The Walton's to cherish, too many to mention here. One (or should I say two) of her most memorable performances, was in one of the later episodes of series 9, I think it was called The Pearls. Ronnie played dual roles of Corabeth, and her much less inhibited sister Orma Lee. Ronnie looked as though she was really enjoying herself in that episode.

R.I.P Ronnie Claire Edwards.

So sad to hear. I loved her as Cora Beth.

Maybe I missed it in the credits, but she also appeared in an episode of Dallas as a medium who Pam visits. It's a very good scene and Edwards plays it very well. She tells Pam that her great love is still alive. Pam thinks it's Mark but she's actually talking about Bobby.

There were many times that I wanted to stuff a sock in Cora Beth's mouth.

I was really sad when I heard.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.

Ronnie Claire Edwards was excellent as Corabeth. I didn't always like her, but some characters are not meant to be liked. Corabeth was a busybody who liked to point fingers. And sometimes I thought she looked like a 1940s movie starlet.
