I remember in The Dustbowl Cousins, Olivia had a washing machine she was using outside when John and Ham came back to the house from Ikes. In the very next episode, The Reunion, Olivia is washing her clothes in the sink with a wash board.
I hate inconsistancies like that.
The episodes were probably filmed out of order. It happens.

I believe there is an episode when John Boy wants to buy the second hand washing machine and puts money down at Ike's. At the end he gives it to her but I forget the episode. Imagine Olivia trying to wash all the clothes by hand? That's all she would ever be doing.
