How could this show NOT be on Rolling Stone's list of 100 greatest shows

Rolling Stone magazine recently had a list of the 100 greatest T.V.shows of all time. Not only was S&S Not in the top five like it should have been, it wasn't even on the list!! WHAT?? Instead, they had predictable **** like Seinfeld, American idol, Ren & Stimpy, and Happy Days. LORD.

Rolling Stone magazine sucks.

Why do they call 'em soap operas anyway? Those things are FILTHY!----Fred Sanford

Well, you summed it up with the last sentence in your post. lol That magazine hasn't been relevant since the early 1980's. It jumps on every fad and is so "PC" and really pathetic nowadays. What's printed is basically the opinion of a couple stupid people. Of course SAS belongs in the top 100, but you can't take anything Rolling Stone says seriously anyways. Long live, Freddy G.!!! :)

Gotta agree. It's pretty pathetic.

You are 100% correct about every word of your criticism of Rolling Stone. If AOL, from time to time, didn't print "Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest This," "100 Greatest That", I wouldn't know that stink rag was still in business!! Even weirder is that S&S broke much ground in a number of areas, including, of course, race relations. You'd think the ultra-PC Rolling Stone would have the show on its list. Their not even that bright!

Who cares what they say?

At least it was a successful show for 5 and a half years.

What an outrage, seriously. Sanford and Son was hilarious with killer characters
