Cropped DVD
Does anyone know why Warner Bros DVD cropped the top and bottom of the picture to make the image 'widescreen'? Are there any plans to rectify this and release the 'real' version?
shareKung Fu was already being digitally remastered by another division at Warner Bros. and as part of that process was also cropped for widescreen so it was just easier to use the already remastered widescreen versions than go back and remaster the original cuts. I don't know if there are plans to release am alternate version of season one, personally I would rather see a release of Kung Fu the movie, Kung Fu the next generation, and the complete Kung Fu the legend contiues DVD before seeing an alternate season one release.
