Kung Fu - before my time but great.....

I had seen some of the flashback scenes and the legend continues on television when I was growing up. (90's) Kung fu was before my time so I had to see the original series here just a while back when they were released. What really got me wondering about it was I heard it referenced on "that 70's show" as lame as that sounds.My father was always a fan since he watched them when he was a teenager in the 70's....so one day Im in this conversation and he brings it up and starts telling me the plot....interesting I run into a flea market and buy the 1987 kung fu movie....now it was no where near as good as the series however it intrigued me enough I wanted to see more...well no one had the original TV movie (1972) so my dad bought it online and I watched it with him, and I AM GLAD I DID!

The pilot is probably one of my favorite episodes of the series...I was in love with kung fu after that. So I was thrilled when my father bought all 3 seasons (which I have since gotten ahold of lol) as good as the 3 seasons are I found myself wanting more....

I suggested maybe finding legend continues and watching some of them....to which my father told me they were a travesty compared to the originals and according to some of the reviews I have read, they sound a bit hokey.

however I still enjoy the originals, thing is very few people my age even know what kung fu was...so its like "huh?" whenever I talk about it....but I think if more people my age watched it theyd love it too.
