Does this show have a decent ending?
Never watched it, considered giving it a go. I know it has a bit of a long running story arc, but does it come to a satisfying conclusion or does it wither and die like so many other shows?
shareIt appears a conscious effort was made to resolve many elements of the story line when the series ended, so it is somewhat satisfying on that level.
But, during Season 3, many of the stories tended more to magical tales and I found them generally to be less compelling. And in the final few episodes, Kwai Chang Caine becomes much more Americanized.
If you try the series from the beginning and find it worthwhile, it may also be worthwhile to persevere to the end. However, the best is over by the end of Season 2.
