What Shows were on Opposite 'Kung Fu'?
My friend and I were discussing the show..I never watched it as a kid, clearly I was tuned into something else...what programs played opposite "Kung Fu"?

I was 7 when this show started but I don't remember what was on opposite to Kung Fu... Probably because I was watching Kung Fu...

When it was on Thursday, it duked it out with The Waltons.
I think the Waltons won.
The 3rd season was on Friday nights at 8, opposite Sanford and Son on NBC and Planet of The Apes on CBS. BTW, Kung Fu was followed by Kolchak: Night Stalker at 9 on ABC. I have the complete collections of Kung Fu, Planet of the Apes and Kolchak on dvd. What a great time for tv. Of course, there were no real housewives back then.
The quality of mercy is not strained.
That sounds about right. I think the 70s and 80s were the last great eras of TV.
