in the commentary track on the dvd, dc said none of the episodes have more than 2 minutes of fighting due to regulations.

"in this world there's two kinds of people ... those with loaded guns, and those who dig."

Don't see this expecting non-stop action. It's more of a drama show. And what fighting there is isn't of Bruce Lee quality. Lots of slo-mo but at least it's on a realistic level, no jumping 20 feet into the air & spinning 3 times type stuff.

I never saw the point of the slow motion fight scenes. I suppose it was to disguise the non-expert fighting movements, but I found it silly and annoying, like the slow motion action sequences in The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman.

Maybe all the shows were going for that Sam Peckinpaugh stylish look. Or not.
