Any attempted remake of "Kung Fu" today would completely miss the philosophical spirit of the original, leaving us a generic Chinese martial artist in the Old West, i.e., Shanghai Noon. Enjoy.
I would love to see a big budget remake with an Asian actor who actually knows martial arts.
shareI couldn't agree with you more, someone like Jet Li would be perfect for the role of Kwai Chang Caine, it would actually give people a idea of what the original Kung Fu Series would of been like if had stared Bruce Lee, but than again watch the movie Fighting Fists Of Shanghai Joe that would actually give idea of how Bruce Lee would of been like playing the role of Kwai Chang Caine.
