Opening Credits.

I remember some cable channel was showing it and I seem to recall an announcer saying

"Tonight's episode is etc."

However haven't heard it in these broadcasts I haven't heard any of that.

It was only done on a couple of shows.The "opening scenes" changed many times sometimes even 2 or 3 times per season. But the "announcer guy" was only on for a couple of episodes.

I think the credits are far too long! You couldn't even speed through them back in the early Seventies.
