rednecks getting pwned

I've heard a lot of talk on these forums about what appeals to them about this show: The Taoist philosophy lessons, etc...
To me I think it was something about this martial arts master wandering around in the old American West, where he's constantly running into characters who I would consider "rednecks." I think that's what appealed to me in the show. I have ALWAYS HATED REDNECKS, and each week this show always featured rednecks getting their butts kicked. I still think it would've been better with a real Chinaman playing the lead role but I still loved it for all the scenes of rednecks getting kicked in the face. The show wouldn't have been quite the same had the lead character been on the run in China and kicking his fellow Chinamen in the face.
