Subject matters on fat albert

I've been watching reruns of the show with my 8 year old, and I've been impressed with the subject matter Mr. Cosby addressed with this series.. Episodes of bullying, animal abuse, importance of education, even anti gang and Internet hacking were done well. The anti gang and hacking episodes seemed ahead of thier time as they were made in mid eighties. Shows like this are few and far between today, as most kids shows I have to watch don't seem to give the same positive messages.
I guess I want to give Bill Cosby a belated thank you for making a show both me and my 8 year old can enjoy

It's an excellent show that could teach most adults a bunch of things let alone children. The internet episode was 10 years ahead of it's time easily, and sadly Gang Wars was an early sign of things to come as well.

I really only started watching this childhood favorite again this past year, it made me really think twice about what the press is saying about this man. The messages in this show are that positive and powerful. Well I don't know anything about anyone's personal life, but it doesn't add up does it?

I watched it in the 70's but never realized it continued until 1985 and included an episode on Internet hacking! I just saw a clip on Youtube and the dumb terminal is incredible to see! I remember working on those in college!
