For me, the saddest episode was when a friend of Fat Albert's (I think his name was Fernando, but I can't be too sure) was killed trying to save his brother during a gang war. The saddest part is that it didn't have to happen, but it did.
Money isn't the root of all evil. Love of money is.
I think Bill Cosby wanted to show kids the reality of Gang violence. However having him killed was too extreme for a kids cartoon. Why not just put him in a wheel chair? I think that would have been just as effective. I do however understand why Bill Cosby ended it this way.
Conspiracy therories are cleverly thought out to evade the real truth
I haven't seen that one. The one that always gets me is when the girl's Uncle Monty dies while he's helping the gang put on a show. The girl is so heartbroken that she almost gets hit by a car from crying so much. I knew a man who looked just like the way they drew Uncle Monty (fortunately, he's still alive today).

Tresix.... I just saw the episode about uncle morty dying. It was a sad episode...it was kinda surprising to have a heavy subject matter like that, but fat albert was actually a very good cartoon, and as bill Cosby said, if you aren't careful , you may learn something!
Gang Wars with the kid dying was very sad, but it sadly was a very realistic episode. The brother he saved still was wearing his gang jacket at the memorial school event the next day. A sad reality.
Harvest Moon when the pet dog got sick from the toxic waste was also a tear jerker. The pet lived but my actual dog died from a neighbor poisoning it so it made me quit sad to see the dog suffering. The one about the uncle sounds very sad too.
