Fantastic Cast - Where Are They Now?

I thought the cast of this BBC production was exceptional. Dora Godwin is just wonderful as Emma. John Carson is an excellent Mr. Knightly. Constance Chapman is an endearing Miss Bates, Debbie Bowen quite good as Harriet, and Fiona Walker and Timothy Peters terrific as the Eltons. Most of the cast apparently was not very active on television and films, many of them with under a dozen credits. Ellen Dryden (Mrs. Weston) for example is only in three other productions. Of course, IMDB is not particularly complete about British television credits so there may be more appearances by all of them. Miss Chapman passed away a few years ago at a ripe old age but most of them are probably only 65ish now at the most but it appears only John Carson has been active in filmed acting since the early 1990's. Were most of these actors stage-oriented? Are any of them still acting either on stage or British television? "Where are they now" as the saying goes.
