I've loved this series for so many years and would like to buy the dvds one of these days. I was wondering if the discs play on American dvd players, are they uncut, are fans happy with the dvds or do the fans have a lot of complaints about the releases?

I have the full set, they play on American DVD players (I'm in the US), and they're excellent quality. No complaints; get 'em!

I bought mine on Amazon for $70 and it comes with extras including 2 bios on Molly and 1 on John Inman. I still watch them more on YouTube on my phone (along with Grace and Favour) instead of on my telly. We've been watching them before bed for almost 30 years now! The sound of cash register used to bring everyone running to bed for a cuddle and a watch!! Now it's just my hubby and me but still watching them!

I just purchased complete series all 69 episodes for a really great price. Amazon. Brand new.
