Harold Bennett ? Young Mr. Grace ? died 15 September 1981.

James Hayter ? Mr. Tebbs ? 27 March 1983.

Alfie Bass ? Mr. Goldberg ? 15 July 1987.

Larry Martyn ? Mr. Mash ? 7 August 1994.

Arthur English ? Mr. Harman ? 16 April 1995.

John Inman ? Mr. Humphreys ? 8 March 2007.

Wendy Richard ? Miss Brahms ? 26 February 2009.

Mollie Sugden ? Mrs. Slocombe ? 1 July 2009.

Trevor Bannister ? Mr. Lucas ? 14 April 2011.

Frank Thornton ? Captain Peacock ? 16 March 2013.

Nicholas Smith- Mr. Humboldt - 6 December 2015

May they ALL rest in peace and be remembered for the laughs they gave us all.

Just realized that Nicholas Smith has passed away last December. That last of the main cast. RIP.

I just ordered the complete series as our PBS station stopped carrying it. I was just watching "camping out" and thought wow all those great characters are all gone but Mr. Rumbold then i checked here to see he was gone as well. Great show. Great cast. RIP all. ?

Mike Berry (Mr. Spooner), Doremy Vernon (Canteeen Manageress) and some of the secretaries/nurses are still alive, I believe.

It's sad that all the original cast are gone. It's bittersweet watching the scenes where they're eating together in the canteen or having a staff meeting on the shop floor.

You keep on reminding me of a darkness only I can see

it is sad, especially as some of them weren't so very old when they went. it amused me when I looked up the cast's ages to find that Trevor Bannister, who as Mr Lucas was supposed to be the junior member in Menswear, ws actually a year older than Mr Humphries and Mr rumbold.
