Sooo Grandpa Joe.....
So Grandpa Joe hasn't been out of bed for a long time and can't walk? He doesn't need to get up and use the bathroom? Lol I'm perplexed about this.

shareBed pans, dude.
shareKind of crap that he sits around in bed all day while his daughter works her fingers to the bone just so they can eat cabbage water, but then Charlie comes home with a golden ticket and he is suddenly fine and dandy, huh?
shareI suppose it's more a case of being too old to work anyway so might as well stay in bed all. Plenty of youngsters out there perfectly able to walk, too lazy to work and spend all day in bed.
We have to show the world that not all of us are like him: Henning von Tresckow.
Sure, but he was saying that when he got better and was able to get out of bed, he would go to work to help out the family. I guess that wasn't motivation enough, but have a chance to tour a chocolate facotry? Game on and Grandpa Joe is fine.
shareThese elderly people were supposedly bed ridden for who knows how long with not having enough to eat. Now I was bed ridding around when I was about 8 to 9 years old. I was stuck in the floor or bed for MONTHS! TWICE! And When I first got out of bed... I sank straight to the floor! My muscles were gone! I had to have help back up and work on walking all over again. So Grand Pa Joe getting up and actually having the strength would be close to something as a miracle, and then doing a song and dance to boot. But it is just an old silly musical.
3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers... it was Drandul, dude!
