I have seen in several (mostly older) movies where they appear to use real Park locations, but do in fact have a scrim on the back side. I assume so they can keep a smaller (cheaper) area under control of lighting and action.
Sometimes the effect is minor continuity errors when the "tunnel" is treated as a simple underpass and the action moves through it. Black doom for a bit, then clearly visible on the other side despite night time once they go through.
I recall thinking this was the same thing at the time. Apparently real, but far too dark so apparently blocked off or something.
Agree also with others above: Many, many of these, all built to the same plan so with the passage of time (changes in foliage) no way to tell which one it might have been now.
