Well, I’m no Sc.D., renowned botanist, charged with caring for the final remnants of the world’s forests, but even I clued right away that the plants weren’t getting enough sunlight.

This one of the issues I remember jumping out at me when I saw the film as a kid.

Dumbest moment in the movie hands down. It made more sense in the original script. Too bad that version wasn't filmed.
