November 14th in the UK. Cannot wait. One of my all time favourite Sci-Fi films. :D Hopefully we in the UK will finally get the version the US got, with the proper Aspect Ratio - not the crummy 4:3 version.

Holy Moly. I now realize I'd never seen this properly before. Highly recommended if you like the film and can play region B Blu-ray.

Yeah it's a really nice Blu-Ray special edition.
Eureka Enterainment have been doing some great releases in the last few months, along with this, the Touch of Evil blu ray is great. Think they did Repo Man and Two Lane Blacktop also.
When these smaller companies put so much effort into their releases it almost makes me want to pick them all up, even if I don't especially want the film, so the company stays in business!
I have the steelbook version on its way. I enjoyed this in first release in the cinema, where I was a projectionist. Every dollar in the budget is on the screen and it is hard to believe that this was such a relatively low-budget effort.

Just watched the "Masters of Cinema" version (UK)....seems like the aspect ratio is wrong...I thought from the documentary that it was shot in 70mm at 1.85:1, but doesn't seem to be that widescreen

They should STOP making discs and start doing the "Burn Per Order" thing like MGM archive is doing. Then I could buy this movie on Blu-Ray!!!
