In terms of plot
shareWell, there isn't much plot to begin with. It's pretty simple in terms of production values, but looks like it cost many more times than it was shot for. In that sense it's a brilliant success.
As for the story, it's more or less a reaction to what was happening at the time with the ecology movement to clean up industrial waste and abuse of our environment.
I cant recall, but does Bruce Dern's character kill one of his crew members in this thing?
He kills one with a shovel and blows up the other two.

I saw a Japanese movie about a guy starring into the sunset for 90 minutes.
At least Silent Running have some dialogue.
