Perfect Hammer double-feature

I've always thought Scars of Dracula and Evil of Frankenstein would make a perfect double-feature. They're both oddball step-kids compared to the rest of their respective series, but still highly enjoyable.

Scars seems to get a bad rap from many fans, but I think it's better than average. In the Hammer Dracula films (including Brides), I put it in fourth place behind Horror, Brides and Prince of Darkness. I put it ahead of Risen because that movie should've been so much better. It's also better than Taste because Lee's counting Count (the first...) is embarrassing.

I think Evil of Frankenstein ranks lower in that series, but it's still good entertainment.

Followed by: "The second..." and "the third..." It's very eye-rolling, which is unfortunate because the first 40 minutes of that film centering around "the circle" of three Affluent British thrill-seekers (and Drac's resurrection) ranks with the best in the series.
