Is there a scene in this movie where you see this (possible hunchback) guy walk in the snow and you see a 'detective' follow him to a castle? I remember that part of the movie, but forgot all about the title. It was a cool movie.

There's no snow in this movie. You're are probably thinking about THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS by Roman Polanski which had a hunchback,snow, a castle and a Dracula like character.

shareThe movie 'The Fearless Vampire Killers' came in the mail today. I am quite sure it is the one I have been searching for all this time. The movie was not as good as I remembered it to be, and actually kind of weird, but not too bad. Loved the snow scenes, they were pretty well done in my opinion.

There is only one movie left that I can't remember the title. No one seems to know what I am talking about because once again I only remember a small part:
'This is a movie where you see a baby chimpanzee or gorilla being left in a
sewer while the mother is being killed above ground? (At the end of the movie) The animals are the same size as humans or smaller, so no 'King Kong'. :)
Horror movie. (I think)
I am looking for the title of this movie, and I thought maybe this was the one. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I have been looking a long time for this movie.
So far no one has any clue about this movie. Probably shot around the 60's - 70 or early 80's in what could be California.
(It is not 'Escape from the Planet of the Apes' 'King Kong Lives' or 'Link')'

John Landis starred in his very first film, "Schlock" (1971), in which he wears an ape suit made by Rick Baker, who did another suit for a later Landis feature, "The Kentucky Fried Movie" (1977), but this time Baker wore his own suit. Yet another ape suit can be seen in "Trading Places" (1983), a third Landis comedy featuring a gorilla, this time somewhat amorous. Although I have never seen it, "Schlock" might be the title you remember.
