The British Film Institute of all people are releasing this movie on Blu-ray on 19/09/16.

Can't confirm any specific details but being a BFI release it'll have plenty of worthwhile extras and a booklet.

At last! I've been waiting for a region 2 release for years. I remember seeing this as a kid on bbc 1 and have always watched it on tv since, it must be about 10 years ago last time i watched this film.
