the fact that this was the 70's and the sexual revolution was goin on, everyone sleeping with everyone, i seriously think its just totally irresponsible of clint to be haveing quickies with all these women just cuz hes a DJ and knows he can. then hes surprised when he basically bangs and leaves this woman who he burned. i actually felt more bad for eveyln then i did clint, i was in a way hopeing she'd get his cheating ass. why wouldnt he want to be with someone not only beautiful, but so dedicated? i'd love if a woman felt that way towards me. its hard enough getting someone to love you, and she really deeply loved him and i bet would have given him lotsa children and always loved him him he let her. but noooo he just a sleazebag and bangsem quick and moves son. clints character was a jerk and deserved what he got.

She didn't love him-- she was obsessed with him. Big difference. Love means you want the other person to be happy-- NOT that "If I can't have you, no-one can" mentality. If you love someone, you don't stalk them and storm into a business lunch they're having and stab their maid. She didn't even really know him when she was saying she loved him-- they'd only been together once or twice! Plus, he was up-front with her about his feelings, and said he was only interested in a fling, and she said ok, then proceeded to ruin his life. He shouldn't have slept with her after she brought him the stuffed dog, and he was kindof a selfish jerk, but once he committed to Tobie he didn't seem to intend to sleep around anymore..
