Who's creepier? David or Evelyn?

It's obvious that Evelyn is cast as the lunatic who acts normal with brief moments of crazy outbursts and inappropriate behavior, but I felt David was pretty creepy too. Maybe the creepiness was just Clint's persona shining through in that he was being himself.

Examples:
How do you like your steak? "Extremely rare!" (with a glint in his eye and an affected rasp in his voice. That's creepy and he acted creepy in that moment as if he was trying to impress her that he was predatory in nature. Since she is the active "predator" he has a knee-jerk reaction to respond that way. Only she is more genuine while he is acting.

Example 2 - He sneaks into Tobie's apartment in the dimly lit room while she's working on a glass sculpture. "Where have you been?" in that creepy and threatening tone. Just creepy, odd and weird.

Example 3 - any moment he has with Tobie he seems to give off creepy vibes and looks toward her. It comes off as lecherous and manipulative.

Example 4 - His musings on the radio while deejaying are just so uncharacteristic of what I know about deejays. The whispering of the poetry and the lurid intonation just screams "Wierdo".

But the whole performance of Eastwood is creepy in this flick.

Here are two "examples" of the poster at work (from the Eastwood board), so you know why this thread exists:

Listen to all the douchebag fans defend their idol. Any man who engages in infidelity while injecting random women with his semen is a loser at heart. He obviously isn't satisfied with what he has at home.
What's odd is that he doesn't have the best taste in women. They weren't that good looking

Well I would never have asked him for an autograph or a picture. I wouldn't give his inflated ego the honor of my attention. It's disgusting enough to ponder that there are so many pathetic loser fans that will defend him at all costs. If Clint Slapped a child for misbehaving in a restaurant, his fans would say the kid deserved it and that Clint was the MAN. If Clint spit on an old lady the fans would still praise him.
If that isn't repugnant enough they will probably hurl all types of trash remarks at anyone who attempts to lightly criticize him.
But would these same losers extend the same courtesy to the average Joe or Jane?

You have time on your hands? I did too. Cut and snip - Cut and paste

It must get daunting after awhile. If we are going to spend so much time talking about the rich and famous, shouldn't we get paid?

It's cumbersome enough just keeping up with these celebrity's lives. But to have to comment on those who opine about their lives is an enormous and endless task.

I watched this 20-odd years ago and I don't remember him being weird, but like 5 minutes into watching it this time around I thought "Jeeze, he's kind of odd. At best curmudgeonly, at worst really strange.

After his performance at the Republican Convention, I keep seeing that aspect of his personality in all his films and wonder if he maybe isn't just a creepy guy all the time.

What a ridiculous post, and those "examples" are just figments of your delusional imagination.

If anyone is creepy it's YOU, OP.

Alright, cut the crap! ALL OF YOU!!!
